TERANGA, the House of Food Transition in Schifflange
A forum for change
TERANGA is a space open to all where you can learn, find out more and meet others around the theme of the agricultural and food transition right in the heart of Schifflange ! Its mission is to encourage people to meet and exchange ideas so that we can work together to build a sustainable future.
Faced with the shortcomings of the global food system, which leaves 757 million people hungry, plunges millions of farmers into extreme poverty and depletes our planet, the transition to a sustainable agricultural and food system appears to be a necessity.
TERANGA’s aim is to provide practical solutions and to encourage people in Schifflange and the surrounding area to think about the issues in greater depth, through a committed programme of events in a pleasant and friendly setting.
TERANGA’s activities will enable young and old alike, agriculture and food professionals and local residents alike, to tackle the complex subject of food:
Where can you find us ? TERANGA - la Maison de la Transition Alimentaire is located at 35 avenue de la Libération, L-3850 Schifflange, close from the SOS Faim offices (17-19 avenue de la Libération).
