To help as many students as possible address these challenges, and drawing on our field experience since 2018, we now wish to develop a new tool, the Learn’Box: an innovative educational and methodological tool, usable independently and customizable. The goal: to help each learner better understand their learning profile and become aware of the challenges involved in learning in a foreign language.

The tool will be adapted for students in Luxembourg schools, as well as for adults wishing to effectively pursue training in a foreign language.

Our Learn’Box will not be just another book on the shelf of students: it will be a physical box that will help them better understand themselves and more effectively revise the concepts they truly need for their exams.

Indeed, we see students’ doubts every day: mind maps, flashcards, sheets… They are often familiar with these tools but are reluctant to use them. And this is understandable: they haven’t learned how to use them properly or how to apply them in a practical way. This is the problem that the Learn’Box aims to solve. With a step-by-step approach, it will show students how to effectively use these different tools (mind maps, flash cards, sheets, etc.) by directly applying them to their own subjects and understanding the mistakes to avoid. The Learn’Box will also help them better understand the specificities of the Luxembourg school environment and how this impacts their learning process.

And because making its offerings accessible to everyone is in Nyki’s DNA, the Learn’Box will be offered at prices adapted to household incomes: discounts ranging from 10% to 100% on the base price will be offered to families facing financial difficulties, just like for our private tutoring sessions.

We are aiming for a €30,000 funding target to create and publish the Learn’Box and are offering rewards for those who help us raise the necessary funds.

€20,000: the first goal to be able to create the Learn’Boxes

This first milestone will allow us to dedicate the necessary time to the tool’s development, as well as to finance the associated graphic design and communication costs.

€30,000: the budget that will allow us to publish the first 300 copies of the Learn’Box

Among these first 300 copies, we aim to distribute 150 Learn’Boxes at reduced or no cost to disadvantaged families.

Who is behind this project?

Since 2018, Nyki has been working towards real equality of opportunity by making tutoring accessible to everyone. Laure and her team offer private lessons for students from primary to secondary school, in all subjects, and for all school systems.

They provide daily support to children and adolescents aged 6 to 20. All their services are eligible for discounts ranging from 10% to 100% (meaning free lessons), depending on the taxable income of the household. Nyki is a 100% societal impact company: all its profits are reinvested into its social mission, and your donations are tax-deductible in Luxembourg, within the limits set by law.
