Short Description

Kolrabi is a living place in Useldange, dedicated to soil regeneration, biodiversity, and the creation of a micro-farm and organic orchard open to everyone. We will produce fresh, local, and responsibly grown organic vegetables and fruit. Campaign Description

Kolrabi is a humble, crunchy, often forgotten vegetable, yet surprisingly sweet. It symbolises our vision: a project built on « Co-« : Co-creation, Co-responsibility, Co-operation, Co-mmunity and Co-llectivity. A place we build together, for the land and for people.
🌱 A living, regenerative place open to everyone
Kolrabi will come to life in Useldange, on a site of great ecological sensitivity:
- Natura 2000 zone,
- groundwater protection zone,
- flood risk zone,
- presence of two springs, one of which is captured.
We will create:
- an organic market garden micro-farm,
- a standard-tree orchard,
- an edible forest,

- restored wetlands,
- diversified hedgerows,
- community welcome spaces.
With the support of SICONA, the site will become a living laboratory for ecological transition.
🤝 A nourishing third place for the community
Kolrabi will be a space where we grow vegetables… but also connections. We will welcome:
- work-therapy programmes for people dealing with addiction,
- animal-assisted therapy,
- a forest nursery,
- awareness workshops,
- local markets,
- educational activities for schools,
- gatherings, conferences, and moments of sharing.
A place where we learn together, reconnect with nature, and build a resilient community.

🔍 Why this campaign?
Before planting a single tree, the law requires us to carry out a complete environmental study, conducted by a specialist engineering firm. This scientific analysis must confirm that the planned developments strengthen biodiversity, regenerate soils, ensure responsible water management, comply with Natura 2000, and guarantee the hydrological safety of the site. Without this professional and rigorous step, Kolrabi cannot get started. With your support, we can cross this essential first threshold.

Without this study, Kolrabi cannot get started. With you, everything becomes possible.
🌱 Here is how your support helps Kolrabi grow, step by step:
For Kolrabi to take root, we must first establish a precise and documented understanding of the land: biodiversity inventory, soil analyses, hydrological study, compatibility with Natura 2000, legal authorisations. These steps are sometimes invisible, but they are fundamental: they ensure that the project will develop in harmony with living nature, the landscape, and the ecological balances of the site. We have therefore broken the study down into several stages, each corresponding to a concrete scientific advance towards land that is understood, protected, and ready to host an agroecological micro-farm open to all.
🎁 Your support matters — and we want to thank you
Every contribution, large or small, nurtures the project and brings us closer to a living, regenerative place rooted in its territory.
To thank you, we offer simple and meaningful rewards: seeds, a tree in your name, a site visit, a guide to enrich your soil… all ways of creating a direct link between you and Kolrabi.
At the end of the campaign, we will contact you personally to arrange the delivery of your rewards, with the same care we give to the land.
A concrete gesture for you, a huge step for Kolrabi.
